Three brilliant engineering students from Northeastern University are working to try to solve Boston's watering problem. It is nearly impossible to get the required 15 gallons of water from a residential tower down to a new tree on the street to care for it. This watering is required weekly from April through November for 2-3 years for a new tree to survive. We have new hope after watching the 3 test an early design of their solution on our 5 new trees. And, as an added bonus to WE Tree Boston, they jumped in, dug the hole and helped us wrestle the last of the 5 new trees into ground. Go HUSKIES!!!!
