Our Mission

WE Tree Boston Inc is an urban forestry program focused on tree education, planting and maintenance. Our goal is to make the West End 'greener' one tree at a time. And then to share all that we have learned about how to engage neighbors to plant and care for trees with all of the other neighborhoods in Boston.

Trees are critical in urban settings, and yet many assume the city cares for all of them, but that is not the case. It is essential for neighbors to get involved to help care for these beautiful assets. Trees help capture both carbon and pollution, they also capture storm water which helps reduce flooding. The next time you are going from a street with no trees to one with trees, pay attention to how you feel, trees help improve mental health.
