About Us
We are a group of neighbors passionate about making the West End greener one tree at a time. Once we have mastered how to plant and care for trees in the West End, we will share what we learn with all other Boston neighborhoods.
In our first 2 years we have partnered with Speak for the Trees, Boston College, Northeastern University, the Boston Parks Department, and private companies, politicians, arborists, land owners throughout the city. We have planted 19 trees and 35 seedlings, all of those, and 4 city street trees, are all now under our care. We have partnered with the universities to perform research projects, design watering solutions and begin to apply for arboretum status to protect Thoreau Path. Most recently we have achieved non-profit status in Massachusetts.

WE Tree Boston Inc is a team of volunteers working to save all of the existing trees in the West End of Boston and add as many new trees as we can. We are driven by our passion for the environment, and our desire to make even a slight change in the world. Our team is looking to expand and would love to have you join us!
